Great Success of Tennis League 2010-2011
Lanz-tennis invigorated its family last mid-October. An award ceremony was held at the Santa Barbara sports center, Costa Teguise, where the trophies for last year’s league were given. In the first category, the winner was the just 13 years old Theodore Bashford, who won all his matches without dropping a set, followed by Carlos Chavez and Eros Brito in the third place. In the second category, the winner was Michael Gautreau, followed by Toni Hernandez and Norberto Garcia. These three players were promoted to the first category. All the players, who will be mor than 60 in the 2011/12 season, congratulated the organization on planning the matches for the past tennis season. Everything is going smoothly, they say.
Tennis program "Parents & Children"
On a different note, we should emphasize the good progress of the tennis teaching program “parents and children”. There are still a few vacancies for these lessons, in which the child and his/her parent can learn the main skills of this beautiful game together. Also, children between four and six can take the first steps in tennis one hour per week between 17:00 and 18:00 hours.
